July to September (Monsoon): Green and scenic. Bhujia Hill looks beautiful, and Hamirsar Lake overflows (a lucky event!). Good for offbeat travel.

Pakwan Pakwan is a dry salty round snack which resembles a small roll. Made with refined flour and oil, it has many folds and layers which are delightfully crunchy. The delicacy is also known as Kutchi pakwan, as it is believed to have originated in Kutch.
